PROTOTYPE
The realisation of CLUSTER presents some challenges, particularly in the pursuit of omnidirectional speakers and an elegant means of suspending the array such that each speaker receives a separate channel, while not producing a mess of cables. The prototype involved the building of 64 10cm cubes, with speakers on each face (384 speakers carrying 64 channels). Cables were strung through each cube for (as much as possible) neatness.
